Becky McDonaldBecky McDonald
Surgical Assistant

Becky was born and raised in El Paso, Tx from a family of 8 siblings.  She moved to Colorado in 1984 and made it her home with her husband and 3 children.  She has over 12 years of periodontal assistant experience and recently joined Littleton Implants and Periodontics.  She feels blessed to be a part of an amazing team that shares the same beliefs and goals for each patient.  Becky brings a level of energy and compassion that she hopes will make your visit less stressful and more relaxed.  Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, gardening, camping with family and friends, playing racquetball with her husband, and creates time for yoga and meditation.

Dental Office Coordinator

Sheila is originally from California but has called Colorado her home for over 12 years. “I’m not a native, but I got here as fast as I could.” She and her husband were married in 1991, and they love spending time with their 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Sheila has been in the dental field for 14 years and is committed to making our patient’s experience with our office as comfortable as possible.

 

Karen Rigsbee-Housewright
Dental Hygienist

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from The University of Colorado and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 18 years. Her patient care skills and experience include providing dental hygiene care and education within periodontal specialty and general dentistry offices. She recently completed her Certification in the field of Orofacial Myology, which includes helping children and adult patients with everything from airway/snoring/sleep apnea issues to stroke recovery. She has also completed her Certification in Advanced Laser Training from the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry where she is trained to utilize the Nd:YAG PerioLase MVP-7 laser for Laser Pocket Disinfection during hygiene appointments. Karen is excited to be an important contributor to the amazing team and patients here at Littleton Implants & Periodontics!

Originally from the small town of Ririe, Idaho, Karen moved to Colorado to pursue her education and has been here ever since. Outside of work, you can find Karen enjoying her time in the mountains with family and friends hiking, skiing, biking, and snowshoeing, in town attending the theater, or curled up at home with a good book with her English bulldog, Maggie. Be sure to ask Karen about Maggie’s
skateboarding and sledding skills!
