Meet The Doctors

Ryan M. Jenkins, DMD

Dr. Jenkins is from San Antonio, Texas and attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated from the May’s Business School in 2004.  Afterwards, Dr. Jenkins furthered his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2010.  Following dental school, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he received the Resident of the Year Award and the Dr. DiMango Award for Excellence in Oral Surgery.  After his GPR residency, Dr. Jenkins moved to Texas and worked as a general dentist for one year.  Realizing his passion for periodontics, he returned to New York City for three years to pursue his specialty education in periodontics and implant dentistry at NYU Lutheran.  He has also participated in five medical and dental mission trips to Guatemala to provide dental care for the underserved population.  Dr. Jenkins’s wife, Christi, is a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Denver.  They enjoy skiing, spending time together in the mountains, and experiencing the outdoor activities in Colorado with their new baby boy, James, and their puppy, Charlie.   Dr. Jenkins also has a passion for BBQ and enjoys visiting his family ranch in Texas.  Dr. Jenkins is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Mark Thurber, DDS, MSD

Dr. Thurber attended the University of Nebraska for undergraduate studies. He received his DDS degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry.  Dr. Thurber served active duty in the United States Navy Dental Corps for three years following dental school.  Dr. Thurber attended graduate school and received his MSD and Certificate in Periodontics from Indiana University School of Dentistry.  Dr. Thurber is  board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. 

Dr. Thurber has been voted on by his peers and received Denver Magazine’s 5280 “Top Dentist – Periodontics” award from 2008-2015.
